Press Release - Neo

For Immediate Release: March 1, 2005

Assist Vision, a division of Times Corporation, introduces Neo - a new video magnifier(CCTV) for the visually impaired

Salt Lake City, Utah - Times Corporation, the market leader in video magnifiers(CCTVs) in Japan, launches its new US Division, Assist Vision, with the release of Neo, a full color, auto-focus desktop video magnifier(CCTV).

Replacing the previous Royal, Neo offers unparalleled features and benefits with a sleek new design. By listening to specialists and talking directly to people with low vision, Neo was designed to be user-friendly with maximum functionality and affordability. The new and improved camera allows larger objects, such as medicine bottles or canned goods to be viewed at higher magnification. Also, by connecting an external video camera to Neo, the user can see even larger objects and also view objects in the distance.

Neo is packed with other unique and attractive features, including a position locator. This feature enables the user to easily position objects under the camera as well as highlight what is being displayed for easier and smoother reading capability. The user can also choose to switch between the continuous focus and one-touch auto-focus mode for maximum flexibility.

Neo´s smooth and sturdy X-Y movable table, with ergonomic rests and adjustable tension and brakes, makes reading and writing even more enjoyable. Also, a number of lighting options help to cutout glare from glossy surfaces and reduce shadows when writing.

Neo makes living with low vision easier, providing magnification as low as 2x and up to 50x (on 14" monitor), a selection of 3 viewing modes - color, black and white and black and white reverse, as well as the ability to vary contrast as well as brightness.

And with Neo´s easy-to-use control panel and high quality image, using a video magnifier(CCTV) has never been so simple.

Neo is available through dealers and doctors nationwide, starting at $1,945 base only, or together with a 14" TV Monitor for $1,995 or 20" TV Monitor for $2,145. For more information call Assist Vision at 1-886-999-9188 or visit www.assistvision.com.
